Titanium Dioxide Producers Announce Global Price Hikes

Rising raw material costs have prompted leading titanium dioxide (TiO2) producers to announce summer price increases. However, soft TiO2 demand caused by the weak global economy will make it difficult for producers to push the price hikes through, analysts say. DuPont Titanium Technologies says it will increase prices for all grades of TiO2in Europe, the Mideast, and North America.
