Sherwin-Williams and Altair Nanotechnologies Form TiO2 JV

Sherwin-Williams (SW) and Altair Nanotechnologies (Reno, NV), an advanced ceramic nanomaterials supplier, have formed AlSher Titania (Reno), a joint venture to develop and produce titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment and nano TiO2 materials. The jv combines Altair and SW’s respective hydrochloride pigment processes, the companies say.
