Millennium Shuts French Plant Amid Poor Market Conditions

Cristal’s (Yanbu, Saudi Arabia) Millennium Inorganic Chemicals says it will close its titanium dioxide (TiO2) plant at Le Havre, France. The company says it did not set a specific timeline for the closure as it is subject to consultation with unions. “No decision can be made until that process is completed,” says a Millennium company representative.
