Huntsman and Kronos announce titanium dioxide price hikes

Huntsman’s pigments division announced its intention to increase titanium dioxide (TiO2) prices globally, effective 15 March. In Europe, TiO2 will increase by €230/m.t. ($300) in dollar-based markets; in North America by 10 cts/lb US dollars and 10 cts/lb Canadian dollars; in Asia/Pacific by $300/m.t.; and in Africa, Latin America, and the Mideast by $300/m.t., according to Huntsman's announcement.
