DuPont Inks TiO2 Supply Deal

DuPont Titanium Technologies says it has entered into a five-year partnership with Megachim (Rousse, Bulgaria), a manufacturer of paints, coatings, resins, and thinners, to develop and launch architectural coatings. Under terms of the partnership, DuPont will become the principal supplier of titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment to Megachim, while Megachim will obtain technical and marketing support from DuPont to develop paint using DuPont’s surface protector additive...
