(Cristal; Yanbu, Saudi Arabia), says it has lifted its force majeure on titanium dioxide (TiO2) produced at its Ashtabula, OH plant. The company declared force majeure in early October due to “an unanticipated production issue outside of its control” that forced the facility to suspend operations. The latest announcement applies to all TiO2 products used for coatings applications, the company says. “Demand in the marketplace for TiO2 remains strong and supply is limited...
