Cristal Global Declares Force Majeure on TiO2

Cristal Global, the production arm of National Titanium Dioxide Co. (Cristal; Yanbu, Saudi Arabia), has declared force majeure on titanium dioxide (TiO2) produced at its Ashtabula, OH plant due to “an unanticipated production issue outside of its control that forced the facility to suspend operations.” The duration and impact of the force majeure are being evaluated, but are currently unknown, Cristal says. “We appreciate the patience and understanding of our business partners as we manage through this production disruption caused by events...
