Apollo Management to Sell Some Huntsman Businesses?

Private equity firm Apollo Management (New York), the prospective owner of Huntsman Corp., is considering selling two of Huntsman’s businesses, sources tell CW. Apollo is likely to dispose of Tioxide, Huntsman’s titanium dioxide (TiO2) operation, and possibly of two units within Huntsman’s performance products business. Apollo’s $10.6-billion bid, including $4 billion in debt, secured the purchase of Huntsman following an auction last year.
