DuPont says that the economic recession will lead to permanent changes to the titanium dioxide (TiO2) industry. TiO2 producers must operate more cautiously during the downturn, “keeping inventory at levels only sufficient to satisfy customer requirements,” says Richard Olson, v.p. and general manager of DuPont Titanium Technologies.
