AEP has developed a cost-competitive production process to manufacture granular polysilicon for photovoltaic panels and is in the process of building a 1,800 m.t./year facility, Total says. Total says it has also signed an agreement to acquire high-purity granular polysilicon from AEP, ensuring raw material supply for Total's other solar energy interests, which include 50% stakes in Photovoltech and Tenesol and...
