Silicon Wafer Shipments Improve in First Quarter

Total worldwide silicon wafer shipments has increased 1%  in the first quarter of 2012, compared to the fourth quarter of 2011, according to the semiconductor industry trade group SEMI Silicon Manufacturers Group (SMG).
