Silicon Wafer Market Shrinks

Silicon wafer shipments and revenue declined in 2008, says trade group Semiconductor Equipment and Materials (Semi; San Jose, CA). Shipments fell 6%, to 8,137 million sq inches, and revenue declined 6%, to $11.4 billion.
