Yara will add a nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing complex near Belle Plaine and storage facilities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The fertilizer complex comprises units producing: 650,000 m.t./year of ammonia; 980,000 m.t./year of urea; and 230,000 m.t./year of urea ammonium nitrate (UAN).
