Yara to Acquire Saskferco from Mosaic

Yara International says it has entered into an agreement to acquire Mosaic’s nitrogen fertilizer subsidiary Saskferco (Belle Plaine, SK) for C$1.6 billion ($1.58 billion) in enterprise value. Yara will add a nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing complex near Belle Plaine and storage facilities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
