Uralkali completes project to extend life of potash complex in Russia

Uralkali (Berezniki, Russia) has started operations at the newly developed Novo-Solikamsk section of the company's Solikamsk-1 potash mine and plant complex at Solikamsk, Russia, the company announced today. All preparatory work had been completed by the end of 2013 and the facilities of the complex—central conveyor, ventilation, and transport roadways—were extended to connect Solikamsk-1 to the new part of the mine.
