Uralkali CEO charged with embezzlement, says president of Belarus

Alexandr Lukashenko, president of Belarus told Russian journalists at today’s press briefing that the charges against the CEO of potash major Uralkali (Berezniki, Russia) Vladislav Baumgertner, have been changed from abuse of office to embezzlement on the back of new evidence. Baumgertner, who was arrested at Minsk airport on 26 August, committed a crime, Lukashenko told the briefing.
