Uralchem reports 6 months fertilizer production data, enters niche segment

Uralchem (Moscow), one of the largest fertilizer producers in Russia and the CIS, today reported mainly flat production data for the first 6 months of this year. The company says that the continuing low consumer activity in Asian countries, especially in India, has led to a global decline in the prices for phosphate fertilizers.
