UAN Remains Offline Following Outage at Pryor, LSB Says

LSB Industries (Oklahoma City, OK) says it has resumed production of ammonia at its Pryor, OK facility following an unplanned maintenance outage that began March 15. Urea ammonia nitrate (UAN) production remains offline, however, as maintenance is undertaken on the site’s urea plant. The company says it restarted ammonia production March 22, and is currently producing ammonia at a rate of 625 tons/day, but it does not expect to restart UAN production until later this month.   LSB says the maintenance downtime will result in approximately $4 million...
