Sonatrach and OCI reach commercial agreement on Sorfert Algérie

Sonatrach (Algiers) and OCI (Cairo), joint owners of Sorfert Algérie, a major fertilizer complex recently completed at Arzew, Algeria, say they have reached an agreement on the commercial and economic terms related to Sorfert.   Commissioning of the complex, designed to produce 800,000 m.t./year of merchant ammonia and 1.2 million m.t./year of urea, is currently under way.
