Sirius Minerals signs more potash offtake deals with Chinese customers

Sirius Minerals, a potash development company, announced today that it has signed two new memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with customers in China for the offtake of a combined 1 million m.t./year of potash from its planned York potash project, in the United Kingdom. Sirius says that the two new deals bring the total volumes of potash contracted to 3.78 million m.t./year, representing 75% of capacity of phase one of the York potash project.   The MOUs, signed with Jiangsu Luling Chemical Industry Group and with Huaken International, foresee each company...
