Sirius Minerals signs major potash offtake agreement with China

Sirius Minerals has entered into an offtake agreement with Yunnan TCT Yong-Zhe Co. (Kunming, China) for the sale of 1 million m.t./year of polyhalite for 10 years from 2017, Sirius Minerals announced today. The offtake is for a fixed price per m.t. for the first 3 years with a re-negotiation of pricing from year 4 onwards, the company says. The initial price is confidential but is in line with the company's assumptions used for its base case modelling.
