Sirius Minerals signs another potash offtake deal, appoints new director

Sirius Minerals (London), a potash development company, today announced that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to sell 500,000 m.t./year of polyhalite, a chlorine-free potash fertilizer, from its York, UK, potash project to Sichuan Agricultural Means Group (Sichuan AMPC). This latest deal brings the total offtake deals to 4.28 million m.t./year. The MOU with Sichuan AMPC covers a 10-year period, and the terms are at market price to be agreed at the final contract stage, Sirius says.   Sichuan AMPC is a major agricultural production...
