Russian fertilizer producer Uralchem opens terminal in Latvia

Uralchem (Moscow), a leading Russian fertilizer producer and exporter, today announced the opening of a terminal at Riga Port, in Latvia, for the handling and short-term storage of bulk fertilizers. The terminal was designed and built as part of a joint project of Uralchem and SIA Rīgas tirdzniecības osta (RTO; Riga). The project was implemented by Riga Fertilizer Terminal, a joint venture in which Uralchem holds 51% and RTO the balance.
