Production will be shut down for four weeks beginning in early February, cutting annual production by about 150,000 m.t.-160,000 m.t., Potash Corp says. The facility has the capacity to produce about 1.9 million m.t./year of potash. Slow demand for fertilizer products and weakness in food commodity prices have forced the company to curtail production at two other mines in recent weeks.
