Lanigan is PotashCorp's largest potash production site, with a nameplate capacity of 3.8 million m.t./year. The outlook for potash demand is mixed, given reports of weaker demand in China and uncertainty surrounding how the U.S. drought will impact fertilizer application rates going forward, market sources say.
