PhosAgro launches squeeze-out for Russia's strategic phosphate rock asset Apatit

PhosAgro (Moscow), a leading integrated phosphate fertilizer producer, will launch a compulsory buyout of all remaining shares owned by minority shareholders in Apatit (Murmansk, Russia), the company announced today. The move was authorized by PhosAgro’s board on Monday.   The board decided to launch the compulsory buyout offer after the stake in Apatit’s authorized capital owned by PhosAgro and its affiliates had surpassed 95%, following a mandatory buyout offer made to Apatit shareholders last year.
