Petrobras and Vale to Study Joint Potash, Fertilizer Projects

State-controlled energy company Petrobras (Rio de Janeiro) and mining company Vale (Rio de Janeiro) have agreed to study the joint development of projects in a range of sectors. They include potash, nitrogen fertilizers, and biodiesel. The accord was signed by Petrobras CEO Maria das Gracas Silva Foster and Vale CEO Murilo Ferreira.
