Pacific Potash completes $2.25-million private placement to fund exploratory drilling in Brazilian potash claims

Pacific Potash (Vancouver, BC) has completed a private placement equity placement of C$2.25 million ($2.2 million) to fund an exploratory drilling program planned for summer 2013 in Pacific Potash's claim within the Amazonas Potash Basin in Brazil, the company says. In addition to the Brazilian claims, the company is also pursuing exploration on the Provost Potash Property, located alongside the Alberta-Saskachewan border in Canada. The site's potash claims target the Prairie Evaporite Formation, which is host to multiple conventional and solution potash mines...
