Orascom Eyes Nitrogen Fertilizer JV in Brazil

EBX Group (Rio de Janeiro) and Orascom Construction Industries (OCI; Cairo) have announced plans to develop an integrated nitrogen-based fertilizer complex in Brazil. The complex would be built in the Açu Superport, which is being developed by LLX, the logistics arm of EBX. The port will be located near to most of Brazil's discovered oil and gas fields, and have access to the country's main agricultural-producing regions, EBX says.
