OCP to buy stake in Brazilian fertilizer firm

Fertilizantes Heringer (Viana, Brazil) and Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP; Casablanca) have signed definitive agreements under which OCP will acquire 9.5–10.5% of Heringer’s shares as well as enter into a long-term supply agreement for phosphate-based products from OCP to Heringer, the companies say. OCP has agreed to subscribe to 5.385–5.686 million newly issued, ordinary shares in Heringer—all nominative, without par value—at an issue price of 27 reais/share ($12.10) in a deal structured as a capital increase.
