Ma'aden's phosphate project gets loan approval

Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Ma’aden) has announced that the Public Investment Fund has approved a $2-billion loan covering part of its previously announced phosphate project. The project is being implemented by Ma’aden’s Waad Al Shamal Phosphate Co., a joint venture with Sabic and Mosaic. The loan’s duration is 17 years.
