KBR to provide purifier technology for fertilizer project in Indonesia

KBR says it has been selected by state-owned Indonesian fertilizer company, Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang (Pusri; Palembang), to provide licensing, engineering services, and proprietary equipment for the previously announced new 2,000-m.t./day ammonia plant and 2,750-m.t./day urea plant located in Palembang, South Sumatra Province. The plant will be designed using KBR’s purifier technology. Toyo Engineering (Narashino, Japan) and Rekayasa Industri (Rekind; Jakarta, Indonesia) were awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction contract for the project...
