Israel Chemicals and AkzoNobel link in salt and white potash joint venture

Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL) and AkzoNobel announced today that they have signed a nonbinding memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the long-term production and marketing of vacuum salt and white potash. The MOU signed by AkzoNobel and ICL’s Spanish subsidiary, ICL Iberia, calls for the production and marketing of 1.5 million m.t./year of vacuum salt as well as 50,000 m.t./year of white potash.
