The company has an option to supply a further 25,000 m.t., under the terms of the deal. This is Israel Chemicals’ second potash contract with Indian customers this month. On August 7, 2011, the company announced it had signed a deal to supply its key Indian customer, believed to be Indian Potash, with 1 million m.t. of potash with an option for an extra 100,000 m.t.
