Farmer co-op CHS forms JV to build fertilizer warehouse

CHS Inc. (St. Paul, MN), a farmer-owned cooperative and energy, grains, and foods company, has formed a 50-50 joint venture with Fessenden Cooperative Association (Fessenden, ND) to construct and operate a fertilizer warehouse at Hamberg, ND. The facility will have 28,000 m.t. of nitrogen, potassium, sulfate, phosphorus, and micronutrients storage capacity and product-blending abilities, CHS says.
