FMC Closes European Persulfates Deal

FMC says it has completed the acquisition of the European persulfates business of RheinPerChemie (Rheinfelden, Germany) from Unionchimica (Bergamo, Italy). The acquisition strengthens FMC’s peroxygens businees and immediately broadens the company's product portfolio for Europe, the Mideast and Africa. FMC gains a persulfates manufacturing facility at Rheinfelden and a sales office in Hamburg, Germany.
