Court Orders Mosaic to Continue to Supply Potash to PCS from Esterhazy Mine

A dispute between two major potash players, Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan (PCS) and Mosaic, over when Mosaic’s obligation to supply potash to PCS from the Esterhazy, SK, mine expires will be settled in court with the trial scheduled to begin in January 2012. In the meantime, however, the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench has ordered Mosaic to continue to supply potash from the mine to PCS. “The court's ruling did not address the merits of any claims in the pending lawsuit between PCS and Mosaic,” Mosaic says.
