Coromandel acquires India's leading phosphate fertilizer producer

Coromandel International (Secunderabad, India), among India’s leading producers of fertilizers, crop protection agents, and specialty nutrients, has notified the Bombay Stock Exchange that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the promoters’ stake of up to a maximum of 56.28% in Liberty Phosphate (Vadodara, India), a leading producer of single superphosphate (SSP). Coromandel is paying 241 Indian rupees per share for the stake. Coromandel will also make an open offer to acquire a further 26% stake from all shareholders of Liberty Phosphate...
