Communities evacuated following explosion at agchem plant in Mexico

An explosion at the production plant of Agroquímicos y Fertilizantes ATP (Atitalaquía, Mexico), an agchem company, at Atitalaquía in the early hours of 7 April, resulted in the evacuation of communities living in Ajacuba, Tlaxcoapan, Atitalaquia, Apasco, and Tequixquiac, local media reports say. None of the site's workers was injured by the accident, the causes of which are yet to be determined, the reports say. Officials are being sent to to investigate the incident.
