Chinese firm selects Stamicarbon urea process for plant at Yixing

Stamicarbon (Sittard, Netherlands), the licensing subsidiary of Maire Tecnimont (Milan), has signed two contracts with Jiangsu Linggu Chemical Industry Co. for a new urea complex to be built in China. Stamicarbon, under the terms of the contracts, will provide its license, process design package, and related services as well as supply high-pressure proprietary equipment for the plant.   The plant will have a capacity of 2,700 m.t./day and will be located at Yixing, Jiangsu Province.
