CF Industries shuts down Woodward, OK, nitrogen complex because of boiler problem

CF Industries announced that its Woodward, OK, nitrogen complex is currently off-line due to a problem in one of the boilers. All of the plants in the complex have been safely shut down with no impact, the company says. The plant is expected to return to normal operations in about six to eight weeks, during which the plant will execute turnaround maintenance that had previously been scheduled for June. The complex has annual capacity of 480,000 m.t. of ammonia; 820,000 m.t. of urea ammonium nitrate; and 25,000 m.t. of urea liquor, the company...
