Allana Potash awards FEED contract to Amec

Allana Potash (Toronto) has awarded Amec's Americas arm a contract to complete front-end engineering and design (FEED) work on its 1-million m.t./year Danakhil potash project in Ethiopia as preparatory work in anticipation of the completion of project financing and expected start of construction. The work will be undertaken primarily by Amec's Saskatoon, SK, office and is estimated to take approximately six months.
