Report: Tata Chemicals to double capacity of SSP plant in India

Tata Chemicals (Mumbai) is planning to invest 400 million rupees ($6.35 million) to double the production capacity at its single superphosphate (SSP) plant at Haldia, India, according to a local newspaper report. Tata Chemicals is awaiting approvals from the Ministry of Environment and Forests (New Delhi) and other relevant authorities. The unit currently has capacity for 200,000 m.t./year of SSP, the report adds.
