Westlake Selects Chlorine Engineers Corp. to Construct Chlor-Alkali Plant

Westlake Chemical says it has selected Chlorine Engineers Corp (Tokyo) as the process technology provider and engineering contractor for the company’s previously announced chlor-alkali plant its vinyls manufacturing complex at Geismar, LA.   The project is targeted for start-up in the second half of 2013 and will be partially funded by the Gulf Opportunity Zone bonds issued by the company.
