Uhdenora Bags Several Chlor-Alkali Contracts

Uhdenora (Milan) says it has been awarded contracts to expand chlor-alkali plants in Turkey, India, China, and Slovenia. Koruma Klor Alkali Sanayi ve Ticaret (Kocaeli, Turkey) has ordered a membrane-cell electrolyzer, which will expand the company’s Iskendrum, Turkey chlor-alkali plant by 45.5 m.t./day, to 91 m.t./day of caustic soda, by the fourth quarter of 2008.
