Uhdenora Awarded Chlor-alkali Plant Contract in China

Uhdenora (Milan), a joint venture between Uhde (Dortmund, Germany) and De Nora (Milan), has been awarded a contract by Shandong Befar Group (Binzhou City, China)for a new chlor-alkali plant to be built at Binzhou City, Shandong Province, China. The new plant will be designed to produce 540 m.t./day of 100% caustic soda, based on the Uhde single element 6th generation technology, also referred to as “Zero Gap” technology, which reduces energy consumption.
