Chlorine production rose about 4.8% in July compared with June. About 23,589 tons more chlorine gas and 46,441 tons more liquid chlorine were produced, up about 3.9% and 5.9%, respectively. Liquid caustic soda production also increased in July. Production climbed about 4% from the previous month by 39,529 tons, to 1,059,779 tons.
