Total chlorine production decreased about 2.7% in October compared with September. Chlorine gas production was lower by about 25,792 tons, to 897,425 tons, down 2.8% from September. Liquid chlorine production fell by 19,217 tons, to 703.304 tons, or 2.7% less than the year-ago period.
