Siam Cement Plans Cracker, Chlor-Alkali JV in Vietnam

Siam Cement Group (SCG; Bangkok) says it has signed a joint venture agreement with two Vietnamese companies to build Vietnam’s first world-scale petrochemical complex. SCG subsidiaries Vina SCG Chemicals (VSCG Chem; Ho Chi Minh City) and Thai Plastic and Chemicals (TPC; Bangkok) signed the agreement with Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam; Hanoi) and Vietnam National Chemical Corp.
