HF Chlor-Alkali selects Ineos technology for plant in Iowa

HF Chlor Alkali has selected the Ineos Bichlor bipolar electrolyzers for apreviously announced chlor-alkali plant now under construction at Eddyville, lA. The plant is being built adjacent to Cargill’s corn milling facility. It will produce a minimum of 100,000 dry tons/year of caustic soda and 250,000 tons/year of muriatic acid and bleach and supply an adjacent food processing facility and other Midwest...
