Gulf Resources Starts Up New Bromine and Crude Salt Assets Ahead of Schedule

Gulf Resources says its subsidiary Shouguang City Haoyuan Chemical Company Limited (SCHC; Shouguang City, China) has started production at its recently acquired bromine and crude salt assets in China, about two weeks ahead of schedule.   The assets are expected to produce about 3,000 m.t./year of bromine and 100,000 m.t/year of crude salt, expanding SCHC’s annual production capacity to 46,300 m.t./year of bromine and 550,000 m.t./year of crude salt, the company says.
